Born and raised in Stop Six of Fort Worth, Tx. I got my start in entertainment in a social group known as The Original Kings Kids. The Kings Kids was founded my PE teacher at the time Ms. Charmion Polk. The Kings Kids were a group of boys and girls that studied the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and our black heritage through music throughout the yr. I was 11 years old and singing in the Kings Kids choir as well as being one of the main speakers that recited one of Dr. Kings speeches. We as a group was traveling across the states and performing for different events and celebrities including all of Dr. Kings children and his wife Coretta Scott King.
I was introduced to the saxophone by my grandfather Wesley Hatcher Jr. at 12 years old. I learned and played sax all through middle school, high school, and college. I’ve since been playing, performing, and recording professionally. The past 8 years I’ve played in high profile cover bands doing high profile shows as well as develop my own business and entertainment company Vintage Perspective. I am currently working to release music of my own and start more music-based businesses.
